About ADX

We are not just talking improvement. We do improvement.

The ADX Group™ exists for organizations that want practical change, not a polished slide deck that never reaches the work. We serve companies across the globe by coming alongside leaders, teams, and individuals who want to build better ways of thinking, deciding, learning, and operating.

Critical-thinking culture

We help teams build the habit of asking better questions, seeing the real condition, and testing countermeasures before jumping to solutions.

Practical improvement discipline

ADX brings structure to continuous improvement through routines, measures, project support, coaching, and operating cadence.

Practitioner-led transformation

We come alongside leaders, individuals, and organizations as practitioners who understand the realities of making change stick.

Why we continue

In an age of artificial intelligence, the need for human analytical and critical-thinking skills is increasingly important. The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 identifies analytical thinking as the top core skill employers seek, with seven out of ten companies considering it essential, and says 39% of workers' core skills are expected to change by 2030.

The trim-tab effect: a great ship changes direction through a small but powerful shift that starts with the trim tab. Organizations can work the same way. When employees are equipped to think critically, identify friction, and improve the work, they begin to influence the organizational rudder and create significant impact.

The practitioner — Dave O'Riordan

Founder and principal of The ADX Group. Dave has more than twelve years in operations and transformation across healthcare, insurance and contact centres, including Fortune 100 environments. He is a Six Sigma black-belt level practitioner whose instinct is lean in the truest sense: go and see for yourself, respect the people doing the work, and fix the process before blaming the person.

His roles have included Director of Process Improvement and Site Director, and Division Manager of Continuous Improvement. He currently serves as a senior director of service experience at a national nonprofit. As Head of School at a Christian academy, he led a turnaround in which enrolment doubled. As executive director of a chamber of commerce, and as co-founder of the Arizona Christian Chamber of Commerce, he built organisations whose whole purpose was helping other organisations thrive.
